Currently, Heart School is servicing Boards of Education mainly across the Kanto region (Ibaraki, Chiba, Tokyo, Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi) in both urban areas and regional ones.

Central Tokyo (population density 13,500 people per km2), is far and away from the most urban of regions in Japan. Houses the size of a shoebox, crowded trains, and traffic jams are all common in Tokyo. However, all modern conveniences can usually be found a stone’s throw from your doorstep.

An example of a regional area would be Maebashi, in Gunma Prefecture (1334 people per km2). About 2 hours from Tokyo by train, Maebashi is a large enough city to still have most things at a convenient distance from your apartment, but having a car to get around will increase your enjoyment in the city.

Nasu in Tochigi Prefecture (population density 128 people per km2) is an example of a rural setting. Surrounded by mountains it is great for those who enjoy skiing or snowboarding or bathing in hot springs. About 3 hours by shinkansen to Tokyo, Nasu boasts clean air, lots of personal space, and nature knocking at your door.
