Today’s topic is “appointment”.

There should be many occasions that you need to make an appointment with doctors, hair salons or clients.

We call appointment “yoyaku” in Japanese.

EN: I made an appointment with my dentist.

JP: Haisha wo yoyaku shimasita.

People use the word appointment only for clinics or salons, however, we use the word yoyaku for any type of appointments including restaurants, hotels and tickets!
