Today I will introduce about the cherry blossom. What kind of sakura are popular among them??

Someiyoshino (Prunus x yedonsis)

Regarding one of the most spectacular of flowering tree, the Yoshino cherry, Prunus x yedonsis is highly celebrated for its thousands of showy , almost-scented blossom coming out all at once along its bare branches in early spring and then quickly falling.

Shidarezakura(waterfall cherry) 

it gets its name from its semblance to a waterfall when the light pink petals blossom on branches spreading in all directions.

Yaezakura(Double cherry blossom)

Yaezakura, which means multi-layered cherry blossom, is a catch-all term for cherry blossoms with more than five petals. Starting to bloom in mid- or late April, yaezakura have petals that range from light to dark pink. Because of the double layers of petals, they’re known as a symbol of strength, as compared to the delicate Someiyoshino.
