Unique Facts at Japanese Schools

・Inside shoes

Students at many schools abroad might not change shoes when they enter to a school building, but we do at most of the schools. We have inside shoes and even other shoes for gyms. This makes a school clean and the cleaning easier.

・Cleaning time

Another thing is that schools in Japan do not hire janitors. Like I mentioned above, it is important to keep the school clean because students are the ones who clean the school. This is how we learn the cleaning, and this is why Japan is very clean.

・Going to schools by themselves

The last thing is that students go to schools by themselves. Some students might go to schools by bus, but some walk to schools. I see kids going to schools only with their friends. I think this is uncommon abroad because they usually drive their kids to schools and pick them up.
