Okonomiyaki
Okonomiyaki is like a kind of Japanese soul food. It is like Japanese Pizza.
I was born and raised in Kansai where is its mecca. Ordinary people is around an electric griddle and eat it around it with family members and friends with trowels, talking buzz-buzz.
Everyone enjoy the conversation with the trowel.
Main ingredients
Cabbage, Chinese yam, Sliced pork back ribs, weak flour, small pieces of deep-fried dough, vegetable oil, mayonnaise, Okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, green nori (seaweed), eggs. red pickled ginger.
The difficult part is to turn it over very well with two trowels.
Therefore, you need to bake it well on the side until the side turns stiff enough. Otherwise, tragedy take place in the plate. I like spicy taste. So I prefer “Doro source”.
It add the accent to whole the taste. Anyway, Okonomiyaki can unify the tie of family, friendship, and workmanship. When you come to Japan, enjoy Okonomiyaki party!!
